Founded in April 2021 in Ashburn, Virginia, Chariots of Honor is a nonpartisan, 501(c)(3) tax-exempt, community-based, veteran-owned, all-volunteer organization whose mission is to honor our military veterans through honorary procession.
On May 1, 2021, Chariots of Honor hosted their first Celebratory Procession for COL Carl C. Johnson, Tuskegee Airman, U.S. Army, Retired.

Eric Holland served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1983-2011, and he retired as a Mastery Gunnery Sergeant from Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton.
During his military service, he served as an Aviation Operations Specialist (7041).
Eric served on the U.S. Presidential Helicopter Squadron One during U.S. President Bush, Sr and President Clinton administrations; American Embassy Detachment Commander in Lome, Togo (West Africa) and Tel Aviv, Israel; and Combat Veteran Operations Enduring Freedom (2005-2007). Eric also served U.S. Embassy duty from 1996-1999.

Meet Herbert, a distinguished U.S. Navy academic collegiate scholarship recipient and graduate of the U.S. Navy Officer Candidate School. With a notable service record that includes Desert Shield/Desert Storm, he helped establish the Afloat Training Group Atlantic organization, showcasing leadership at Commander, Atlantic Training Command. Transitioning to the civilian sector, Herbert excels as a management consultant in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, offering technology management expertise to federal organizations and programs.
Herbert's dedication to our nation was evident during the tragic events of 9/11, where he survived the attack at the Pentagon. Since then, he has committed himself to supporting the U.S. military and veterans through unwavering selfless service.
Passionate about volunteering, Herb is actively involved in organizations like the USO, VFW, American Legion, AMVETS, and the Marine Corps League. Herb is an alumnus of the FBI Citizens Academy, Loudoun County Sheriff's Office Citizens Academy, and Fairfax County Citizens Police Academy.

With a long history of U.S. military service in the Setnor family since WWI, Thomas continued the tradition and proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps. During his service, Thomas served as field MP and conducted convoy security operations in Iraq. Thomas led advisory teams during two deployments to Afghanistan, where he earned the Marine Corps Combat Action Ribbon.
Since his military service, Thomas has served as a defense contractor for multiple U.S. intelligence agencies.
Thomas currently serves as a Corporal in the U.S. Treasury Bureau of Engraving and Printing Police force.
As passionate as he is about the military and our veterans, Thomas is also an honor guard member, firearms instructor, and a sitting member of the D.C. Special Olympics Law Enforcement Council.

On Wednesday, March 19, 2025, Chariots of Honor president Herbert Valle had the privilege of standing alongside Virginia Delegates Atoosa Reaser, David Reid, and Fernando Martinez (D-29), Loudoun County Board of Supervisors Chair Phyllis Randall, Vice Chair Michael Turner, Leesburg Supervisor Kristen Umstattd, Algonkian Supervisor Juli Briskman, as well as Commander Ray Delpesche (VFW Post 1177), Darrell Henning, and Jeff Jarkowsky (Educational Enrichment for Young Patriots) to present a Commending Resolution and Proclamation honoring Vic on his 102nd birthday and his military service.
